After one year of work….this bad boy is finally ready for patina. He weighs in at 1700 #’s. 6′ 9″ high.
I call him, “American Bison”.

The metal is bronze.
There are stainless steel supports inside the two attached legs to prevent lateral movement. Thanks.

I had no idea bronze was that color before the patina – interesting. Love your work BTW, especially your women, very well done.

My mentor, Fritz White, told me 25 years ago, “If you can sculpt a female nude well you can sculpt anything.” I took what he said to heart. About once a year or so I take on the subject matter of ‘the female nude’.
