“SHADE IS WHERE YOU FIND IT”
It’s fun for me to see the human side of animals. Ever see a cow scratch its head against the side of a post? Or, watch two horses stand at opposite ends to one another and switch their tails to keep the flies off of the others face? We use sunscreen and insect repellant to keep of the insects and the suns harmful rays off of us…animals are known to roll in the dirt to do just the same thing. Out on the prairie, there are one-hundred year old buffalo wallows that record where just such events occurred.
This little fellow has already learned that ‘underneath momma feels better’. Shaded, cool and protected.
